Kapuso actress Maine Mendoza is one happy future bride. She is tying the knot soon with actor-politician Arjo Atayde, Maine’s boyfriend for several years before he made the grand proposal on a significant day in their relationship.
Ahead of her wedding, the actress received two bridal showers. The first one was a bridal shower from her EAT family. The second one was from the mother-in-law of Maine Sylvia Sanchez.
She is thankful for these people who were so thoughtful in giving her memorable events to remember before she becomes a bride and, eventually, a wife.
All throughout the preparation, the couple has always been mum about the details of their wedding. They only confirmed that it is happening this year and according to the rumors, they will be marrying on July 28 but this date has not been confirmed yet.
And recently, in the program of Cristy Fermin, she claimed that the wedding of these two celebrities is going to be grand. She also knows where it is happening but she initially did not disclose such a piece of information to avoid unpleasant incidents that might ruin the event.
However, she still candidly mentioned the venue and according to her source, the wedding is going to happen in Baguio Country Club.
She said in the video, “Baguio Country club. Sosyal ‘di ba, at eto po ang sabi ng aking source, napakabongga po ng kasalang ito.”
Meanwhile, among the confirmed guests of their wedding apart from their families are Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, and Joey de Leon who are going to be their “ninongs”. In an interview before her wedding, Maine expressed that she plans to go lie low to spare her time doing the things she wants to do outside the industry.
She plans on starting a business, something she had planned way back but did not materialize – yet.
