During the inspection, it was discovered that the stored pig and beef items were already rotten and creating a terrible stench. The beef allegedly expired in 2021 and originated from a variety of nations, including India and Germany.

The HOA’s administrative staff accepted the LOA on behalf of the owner/operator of the relevant warehouse in the presence of two barangay officials. Commissioner Bienvenido Y. Rubio praised the BOC and DA’s tight collaboration and commended the barangay and HOA authorities who assisted with the LOA service and inspection of the subject warehouse.

Based on the report, no one was arrested during the raid because no one was inside the warehouse at the time. The warehouse’s owner is also alleged to be in another country. Authorities are still doing a thorough inventory of the seized meat in order to determine where it was sold.
