Billy Crawford hosted noontime shows for many years
Singer-dancer Billy Crawford has this answer if he misses doing noontime shows which he has done for several years.
Aside from being a singer and a dancer, Billy has also done several hosting stints. One of the longest hosting stints he did was on the Kapamilya noontime show It’s Showtime. Then, he transferred to TV5 and hosted the Kapatid noontime show Tropang LOL for more than two years.
Billy’s upcoming TV show is The Voice Generations on GMA in which he is one of the coaches. They have already started taping for this show but no final announcement yet if when will this be aired.
In a recent interview, based on the article in Abante, Billy Crawford shared that he will be back in Paris to do 28 shows. The Pinoy celebrity gained popularity in several countries in Europe.
He said that it overwhelms him that there are still people in Europe who sing his songs. “It’s weird, kasi nakakatawa, hanggang ngayon kinakanta ko pa rin ang mga kanta ko 20 years ago. Sobrang nostalgic. Pero masaya, kasi nakikita mo ang generations na pinapasa ng mga magulang sa mga anak nila,” the singer-dancer said.
He also shared that there were younger people who know his songs because of their parents and this makes him happy.
When asked if he does not miss doing a noontime show, Billy said, “Personally, right now? Hindi muna. I’m enjoying the time sa pamilya ko. Sobrang blessed ang pakiramdam ko,” he said.
Billy Crawford explained that noontime is equal to stress. “Kasi may kailangan kang busugin na mga tao. At hindi araw-araw ay jolly, happy tayo. Lahat may pinagdadaanan,” he added. He also stressed that in noontime, hosts are not allowed to show that they are sad.
