Guide on Requirements for Landbank Scholarship Application for Aspiring Scholars
REQUIREMENTS FOR LANDBANK SCHOLARSHIP – Here are the documents you must submit in applying to be a scholar of the Landbank of the Philippines.
There are several state instutions, offices, and agencies that offer scholarships to poor but deserving Filipino students. One of these is the Landbank of the Philippines, the biggest government bank in the country.
This year, the government bank launched the “Iskolar ng Bayan Landbank Program” that targets to financially assist the “deserving dependents of agrarian reform beneficiaries (ARBs) and small farmers and fisheries nationwide” in their schooling.

There are eligibility requirements in applying to be a scholar of the Landbank of the Philippines. The student applicant must be:
- a Filipino citizen
- a child or grandchild of ARBs and small farmers and fishers who are high school graduates
- has a minimum average grade of 90%
The scholarship program will support 60 new scholars from 2023 to 2028. To apply to be a scholar of the bank, there are documentary requirements for Landbank scholarship application. You need to prepare the following documents:
- duly-accomplished Landbank Scholarship Application Form
- Academic Transcript or report cards
- Certificate of Good Moral Character
- proof of financial need, such as income statements or affidavits
- essay or personal statement outlining the aspiration of the applicant and the commitment to education
The bank has a special committee assigned to evaluate all the scholarship applications. Candidates for the scholarship may be called in for an interview. You may visit the bank’s official website as well – Landbank of the Philippines.
