Veteran journalist Korina Sanchez returned to ABS-CBN after doing partnerships with other networks and this received a reaction from Kapamilya news anchor Karen Davila.

Korina and Karen both became part of the Kapamilya primetime news program TV Patrol. It is known to many that they have been pitted against each other for the longest time.

However, they kept on reiterating that there is no issue between them and there is no need for people to compare them.

On July 5, Korina Sanchez officially signed a new contract with ABS-CBN. This is for her magazine show Rated Korina. After the contract signing, Korina shared a post about this.

She said that she really never left. “Rated Korina had always aired still on the ABS-CBN platforms the past years, thanks to Brightlight Productions and Mr. Albee Benitez,” she said.

The veteran journalist shared that with her Kapamilya comeback, she is partnering with ABS-CBN for her magazine show. Korina also showed appreciation to the network’s executives.

Korina also made a striking statement. She said that the girl can be taken out of ABS-CBN but no one can take the “ABS-CBN training out of the girl.” “And this is the experience I hopefully bring to my other broadcast homes and make a contribution as best I can, while I can, in whatever ways made possible to me,” she added.

The veteran journalist shared that the phrase “welcome back home” is still resonating in her ears.
