Korina Sanchez and Karen Davila attended the same event just recently
Seasoned journalist/TV host Korina Sanchez shared a photo with TV Patrol news anchor Karen Davila who is now her “kumadre.”
To recall, Korina and Karen ended last year the lingering rumors that there is a conflict between them. As they are both known as prominent broadcasters, especially when Korina was still in ABS-CBN, it was inevitable that a rivalry between them was speculated.
Previously, Karen already clarified that she and Korina are not enemies. Last year, Karen guested on Korina’s show Korina Interviews and one of the things they talked about was their rumored “awayan.”
Both of them once again denied the speculations. However, there were allegations that surfaced claiming that Korina Sanchez was just faking the friendly atmosphere between her and Karen Davila.
Just recently, Korina and Karen attended the same event. It was the church wedding of Kapamilya reporter Marc Logan with her longtime partner. Korina shared photos taken during the event. One of the photos she shared showed that she and Karen posed with the couple.
The wife of Mar Roxas congratulated Marc and his wife and said that she is happy to be a “ninang” along with other media personalities. “Happy to be co-ninang with Sen. Grace Poe, Mayor Joy Belmonte, colleague Ces Drilon, Sen. Cynthia Villar, ABSCBN Boss Cory Vidanes, Usec Niña Taduran and colleagues Doris Bigornia and Karen Davila,” Korina Sanchez wrote in the caption of her post.
Then, she mentioned that aside from being friends with Karen, they are now “kumadre.” “Ayan. Di lang kami magkaibigan. Kumadre ko pa sha ha,” Korina said.
In the comment section, Karen wrote, “Beautiful K [bouquet emoji] and congrats to @marcloganofficial & Lois! Love tested through time [smiling face with heart eyes emoji, green heart emoji, clinking glasses emoji].”
