REQUIREMENTS FOR OWWA SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION – Here are the documents needed in applying to be an ODSP scholar.

One of the state offices that offer scholarships to deserving students is the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration or OWWA. One of its scholarship offer is the OFW Dependent Scholarship Program (ODSP) that offers financial assistance to qualified dependents of OFWs who receive not more than USD 600.00 monthly.

Eligibility Requirements for OWWA Scholarship ODSP

For incoming first year college students:

Single
Grade 11 graduate (Incoming Grade 12 / currently enrolled as Grade 12)
Not more than 21 years old
With a General Weighted Average (GWA) of 80% in all academic and non-academic subjects during the last school year attended in full load

For those in their 2nd to 5th year in college:

Single
Not more than 30 years old
With a General Weighted Average (GWA) of 80% in all academic and non-academic subjects during the last school year attended in full load

Documentary Requirements for OWWA Scholarship ODSP

Scholarship Application Form
OFW Membership Record
2pcs. I.D. Picture with Name Tag
At least one (1) valid I.D. of the OFW and/or the Authorized Representative
Proof of Relationship to OFW Member i.e. Birth Certificate from PSA or LCR
OFW Birth Certificate, if dependent is siblingOFW Certificate of No Marriage Record (CENOMAR, if single) Dependent’s Birth Certificate6. Other Special Requirements (WAIVED DUE TO PANDEMIC):
- Certificate of Good Moral
- Medical Certificate i.e. Physically Fit to attend school if student has a medical pre-condition/s
