PAGASA Says Fair Weather to Prevail Over Most Parts of PH
PAGASA LATEST UPDATE – The state weather bureau reported that generally fair-weather condition over parts of the country.
On Thursday (June 19, 2025), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather update in the country. The ITCZ and easterlies will affect the country’s weather condition.
PAGASA Weather Specialist Chenel Dominguez reported that Intertropical Convergence Zone ITCZ affecting southern Mindanao while the easterlies will bring cloudy skies with scattered rains over the rest of the country.

“We also don’t expect it to become a full-blown tropical cyclone,” Dominguez said.
A low-pressure area was last spotted 360 kilometers west of Bacnotan, La Union. However, it will not directly affect the country.
The ITCZ will bring cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms over Davao Region, SOCCSKSARGEN, Surigao del Sur, Zamboanga del Sur, Zamboanga Sibugay, Basilan, Sulu, and Tawi-Tawi.

The easterlies will bring similar weather condition over Aurora and Quezon.
The easterlies will also bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms over Metro Manila and the rest of the country.
Fair weather will prevail over Palawan, the Visayas, and the rest of Mindanao.
The weather agency has advised the residents in the affected areas to take precautionary measures for possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to at times heavy rains and severe thunderstorms.
Meanwhile, the coastal water condition over Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao will be slight to moderate. No gale warning was raised over any of the country’s seaboard, according to PAGASA.
