PAGASA Releases Latest Weather Update for Monday (July 3, 2023)

The state weather bureau PAGASA reported that ridge of a high-pressure area will bring fair and warm weather in Luzon while overcast skies and rain showers are expected in eastern parts of Visayas and Mindanao.

On Monday (July 3, 2023), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration releases the latest weather update in the country. The ridge of a high-pressure area will affect the country’s weather condition.

PAGASA reported that ridge of HPA and easterlies will be affecting Luzon and the eastern portions of Visayas and Mindanao. The localized thunderstorms will bring rain showers nationwide during afternoon to evening.

“Dito sa bahagi ng Luzon ay generally fair weather may high pressure area po dyan na syang nagdadala ng maaliwalas na panahon particular na sa umaga hanggang sa tanghali,” weather specialist Obet Badrina said.

The easterlies will bring cloudy weather condition with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms over Leyte, Southern Leyte, Bohol and mainland Palawan.

The Easterlies/Localized Thunderstorms will bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms over rest of Visayas, rest of Palawan including Kalayaan Islands, and Occidental Mindoro.

“Habang dulot ng easterlies ay maulap na kalangitan naman sa silangang bahagi ng Visayas at Mindanao,” he added.

Badrina said that no weather disturbances are expected in any parts of the country.

Meanwhile, the coastal water condition over some parts of the country will be slight to moderate, according to the weather bureau.
