Vice Ganda, together with It’s Showtime host, shared this heartfelt message to TV5
It’s Showtime hosts bid goodbye and say thank you to TV5 on June 30, the final airing of the Kapamilya noontime show on the Kapatid network.
The noontime show led by Vice Ganda officially signed a contract with GTV, the channel also owned by GMA-7 last Wednesday. This step that the Kapamilya show was done after the end of its contract with TV5.
The Kapatid network offered an after timeslot to the Kapamilya show but the management of ABS-CBN opted to decline. Then, the show found its new home provided by GTV.
Starting July 1, It’s Showtime will occupy the noontime slot of GTV while the new Eat Bulaga of TAPE Inc. will continue airing on GMA. TV5’s noontime slot will now be occupied by TVJ and the legit Dabarkads.
On June 30, the final episode of the Kapamilya noontime show on the Kapatid network, Vice Ganda delivered a heartfelt message to their viewers and to TV5.
In a video clip shared by Kapamilya Kingdom on Twitter, the comedian-host said that today, another chapter of their show closes. Vice likened their show to a long story or a book and in their daily episode, this is only the time they write the story.
“So, sa oras na ito, sa araw na ito, isang kabanata ng libro na yun ang nagtatapos. Yung kabanata ng pagiging bahagi namin ng Kapatid network, TV5,” he said.
For their final episode on TV5, the Unkabogable Star said that they want to thank the network for providing them with a home and giving them the opportunity to use this even though it is not that too long.
Vice also said that this short period of time is already a big help to the show and to the Madlang People. “Napakalaking pabor po ang ibinigay niyo sa amin,” he added.
The It’s Showtime host also said that wherever they will reach in this new chapter, they will always remember the acceptance they felt from the Kapatid network. “Walang hanggang pasasalamat po ang gusto naming ibigay sa inyo,” he said.
