Sharon Cuneta Announces Her TVJ Show Guesting On July 1

Sharon Cuneta expressed support for TVJ

Megastar Sharon Cuneta announced in her Instagram post on June 29 that she will appear in the pilot episode of TVJ’s show on TV5.

The iconic trio is set to launch their new show with the legit Dabarkads on the Kapatid network after they left TAPE Inc. which is behind the Kapuso noontime show Eat Bulaga. Previously, the TVJ said that they are doing their best so that they would be able to use the title Eat Bulaga.

The trio said that the viewers will just know the title on July 1. Days prior to this, Sharon announced that she will appear in the pilot episode.

In an Instagram post, Sharon Cuneta shared the roles of Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, and Joey de Leon in her life from the time she started in showbiz.

She said that Tito, the husband of her aunt Helen Gamboa, was the one who discovered her. Tito also became his second father. Sharon also said that without Vic and Joey, she would never have hit songs after Mr. DJ.

“I have a 44-year history with Eat Bulaga,” the Megastar said. She added that she had regular appearances in the longest-running noontime show. “As much as I love my ABS-CBN Kapamilya, I could NEVER NOT give importance to my Ea Bulaga family,” the singer-actress said.

She also stressed that her home network knows the value she gives to Eat Bulaga ever since she became a Kapamilya. “Wala pang legit dabarkads o si @iceseguerra sa Little Miss Philippines sa eat-bulaga noon,ako na ang baby nila! And I will be there for them whenever they call me,” she shared.

Sharon Cuneta also said that this is “payback time” and she will always be thankful to Eat Bulaga. “No one can ever put a beloved institution down,” she stressed.
