Actress Julia Barretto has a new movie Will You Be My Ex with Diego Loyzaga and this is something that makes Marjorie Barretto proud.
Marjorie has been in the industry for many years already. It is not surprising that one of her kids will enter show business as well. Currently, Julia is one of the most popular actresses of her generation and her mother is just beside her for guidance and support.
Just recently, the premiere night of Julia’s latest movie was held. Marjorie wrote a lengthy caption in her post about this event in her daughter’s acting career.
Marjorie Barretto said that she already attended all of Julia Barretto’s movies’ premiere nights but this latest one gave her a different feeling.
The seasoned actress said that she came to watch the movie not expecting anything but from the very start, she already forgot that she was watching her own daughter.
“You were AMAZING, raw and natural in this movie Jul. Believe me when I say that i am Julia’s worst critic,” Marjorie said. She added that the worry that her daughter feels during premiere nights mainly comes from the anticipated comment from her.
“But you made me cry with this one, Jul. Big time! Your onscreen chemistry with @diegoloyzaga was a pleasant surprise for all of us watching,” she added. Marjorie also commended Diego for his performance in the movie.
She added that people might think that this movie is just a light rom-com but this is not the case. “You will leave the theater with a new and fresh perspective about break ups, letting go and moving forward… with grace,” the seasoned actress said.
