It’s Showtime Will Allegedly Be Watch in GTV When TVJ Starts New Show in TV 5
ABS-CBN’s variety show “It’s Showtime” will allegedly air in GTV when the TVJ will start their new in TV 5 network.
According to Pep’s post, It’s Showtime’s deal with TV5 expires on June 30, 2023. This could be why rumors are circulating that such a program could soon be broadcast on GTV, or Good Television, the free-to-air TV station owned by GMA Network.
If the It’s Showtime hosts and production personnel are questioned, they cannot respond because they do not know what will happen next in their noontime program. Meanwhile, the variety show will be shown on Kapamilya Channel and A2Z.

The resignation of Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, Joey de Leon (TVJ), and the Dabarkads from TAPE Inc, the producer of Eat Bulaga!, altered the television landscape of noontime variety shows., on May 31, 2023. The original hosts quit due to problems with TAPE Inc.
It’s Showtime, which airs Monday through Saturday on TV5, is one of those affected, as the new noontime program of the original hosts of Eat Bulaga! will be assigned a time slot. LOL was renamed Tropang LOL and moved to a late morning schedule; it was simulcast on Kapamilya Channel, A2Z, and TV5 from July 16, 2022 to April 29, 2023.
TikToClock, GMA-7’s variety show that began airing on July 25, 2022, became Tropang LOL’s rival program. Billy Crawford is one of Tropang LOL’s pioneer hosts, but he will be seen as a co-host of TikToClock for a week because he is one of the coaches of The Voice Generations, the Kapuso Network’s singing competition that he is currently promoting.
