PAGASA Says Southwest Monsoon to Bring Scattered Rains Over Parts of PH

The state weather bureau PAGASA reported that southwest monsoon will bring scattered rainshowers over some parts of the country.

On Wednesday (June 14, 2023), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather update in the country. The southwest monsoon will continue to affect the country’s weather condition.

PAGASA reported cloudy weather condition, scattered rain showers and thunderstorm over parts of Northern and Central Luzon.

Habagat will bring monsoon rains over Ilocos Region, Batanes, and Babuyan Islands. It will also bring cloudy weather condition with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over Cordillera Administrative Region, Zambales and Bataan.

The southwest monsoon and localized thunderstorms will bring partly cloudy to cloudy condition with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms over Metro Manila and the rest of the country.

The weather agency has warned the public for possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to at times heavy rains and severe thunderstorms.

Meanwhile, the coastal water condition over Northern and Central Luzon will be moderate to rough. The remaining parts of the country will have slight to moderate surrounding sea conditions.
