Is it true that jealousy was the reason why Andrea Brillantes and Ricci Rivero are no longer together?
A source close to actress Andrea Brillantes revealed that the reason for her breakup with basketball player Ricci Rivero was “selos.”
Showbiz fans talked about the breakup between the celebrity couple a few days ago. It was because of the meaningful post that Ricci shared on Twitter about his “relationship.” With that, netizens noticed that he celebrated his birthday in Los Banos where beauty queen Leren Mae Bautista is serving as councilor.
Netizens accused Ricci of cheating on Andrea and that he is now having an affair with Leren Mae. The latter appeared to have debunked the cheating allegations against them.
In a recent article in PEP, it was stated that someone close to Andrea Brillantes said that because of her jealousy, she decided to end her relationship with Ricci Rivero. As part of her being “selosa,” it was said that she does not like it when her boyfriend is following and being updated about a female personality.
The source also stressed that it was Andrea who initiated the breakup and it surprised her that Ricci accepted that. It was also said that it was the actress’s choice not to inform the public about their breakup.
PEP entertainment writer Jojo Gabinete said that there are a lot of people who believe that Andrea still loves her ex-boyfriend and there is a possibility that a reconciliation will happen between them.
As of writing, the actress has not released a statement yet about the breakup. However, it can be noticed that Andrea Brillantes has not deleted yet her photos and videos with Ricci Rivero on her Instagram page and she is still following her ex-boyfriend.
