Wally Bayola Claims 30% of His Salary as Eat Bulaga Being Deducted by TAPE Inc

Comedian and former host Wally Bayola revealed that the Television and Production Exponents Inc (TAPE) is deducting 30% from his salary in Eat Bulaga.

Former noontime show Eat Bulaga presenter Wally Bayola disclosed his difficulties with TAPE Inc and the Jalosjos family in an interview with MJ Marfori. Wally was requested to continue with Eat Bulaga, but he is still torn between Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, and Joey de Leon and the TVJ.

“Kung nasan ang TVJ, andoon ako, tapos at the same time at naramdaman ko na ‘yung mga changes.” Wally said.

He also stated that he witnessed changes in the show that prompted him to depart, including the disappearance of Eat Bulaga original producer Tony Tuviera. Wally also expressed regret about Tuviera’s departure from the noontime show.

“Hindi na namin nakikita si Mr. T, wala na kaming makasabay na boss na halos kumakain na kasabay namin, na ‘yung nonsense ‘yung pinag-uusapan, alam mo ‘yung pamilya niya talaga kami.. yung nafe-feel mo na alaga ka talaga ng boss mo,” Wally said.

“So nung parang nawala na si Mr. T, nalulungkot ako.” he added.

Wally became aware of the changes in Eat Bulaga management when he realized that 30% of his talent fee was being withdrawn. He believed that the management deducted only 10%. He did, however, emphasize that he no longer complained.

“Akala ko 10% lang ‘yung nababawas sa sweldo ko, ay 30 [percent] pala. Ako personally hindi ako mareklamo talaga eh, tahimik lang ako,” he said the interview, adding that all Eat Bulaga host has baeen deducted 30% from their salary.
