Netizens React To Karla Estrada’s Post Featuring NPA Theme Song
KARLA ESTRADA – Queen Mother Karla Estrada is about to become a Philippine Army Reservist — but she didn’t know that she used the New People’s Army song to honor the AFP on her Instagram.
Karla Estrada is one of the most well-known actress, singer, and TV personality in the Philippines. She gained more fame after she hosted the Kapamilya network’s morning talk show, “Magandang Buhay” with Melai Cantiveros and Jolina Magdangal.
She’s the mom of box office king Daniel Padilla. Magui, Jose Carlito, and Carmela Ford are her other kids.
Many people look up to Karla Estrada, particularly her fellow mothers. Her “back to school” pictures were so popular that they caught the attention of both internet users and other celebrities. They sent her praise and congratulatory messages on social media.
Based on a report from Philstar, the 48-year-old celebrity mom recently shared a proud moment on social media. She posted a new milestone as she disclosed that she’s going to be a Philippine Army reservist soon.

Karla Estrada’s fans and celebrity friends congratulated her on her new feat. Yesterday, June 6, she posted a now-deleted Instagram video of herself with Philippine Army officers who were dressed in uniform.
Several netizens, however, were amused when they heard the soundtrack to her Instagram video and saw her message
The song’s name appeared in the post’s description: “Ang Bagong Hukbong Bayan (Anthem of the New People’s Army).”
In the comments section, one netizen said: “Anthem daw ng NPA yan karla.”
“NPA ka? Research muna tungkol sa kanta na ginagamit,” another one wrote.
The NPA is known as a military group led by the rebel Communist Party of the Philippines. It is one of the fiercest opponents of the Philippine Army and AFP. It launches an armed struggle to replace the current government to end “imperialism,” “bureaucratic capitalism” and “feudalism.”
Karla is not the only celebrity who became a reservist, many others, such as Dingdong Dantes, Julia Barretto, Gerald Anderson, JC Tiuseco, Arci Muñoz, Rocco Nacino, Geneva Cruz, Ronnie Liang, and Matteo Guidicelli.
