JOEY DE LEON – Henyo Master Joey de Leon admitted that he got emotional about what happened because of this reason.
“What do you do in a canteen? Of Course, EAT! And that became my appetizer to help me through until I came up with a delicious title – Eat Bulaga,” says Joey De Leon in a previous article.
This is how he came up with the show’s title and this story is telling that the idea is originally his.
And with everything that happened after many years, this show has been on hair, he did not deny the fact that he got hurt. He even admitted that he was the most emotional among them because of what has happened.
In an interview, De Leon admitted that they were shocked. It was something that was a bit hard for them to process. Even he was confused as to how things turned out to be.
“Sabi ko nga kay Tito, ‘Ano ba to kung kailan tayo tumanda dun tayo pinag-usapan?’ Kaya ang sabi ko, ‘To, ayos din to. Tayo na ang pinakamagandang halimbawa ngayon ng may pinagkatandaan,'” he said.
But what really made him emotional is the fact that he was the one who created the name based on a report from PEP. He wasn’t vocal about but with everything that has happened, he wants to boast about it.
Regarding the name, Tito Sotto expressed that the battle is still far from being over. They are going to fight for the ownership of the brand. They will be following the international rule: “The creators are the owners”.
And the same applies to the segments of the show. They are still mulling over their next steps.
