Police Authorities Arrest Cellphone Vendor & Tricycle Driver for Possessing Suspected Illegal Drugs 

A cellphone vendor and a tricycle driver were apprehended Tuesday night (June 6, 2023) after being found in possession of approximately half a kilogram of suspected illegal drugs (methamphetamine) in Rosario, Cavite. 

According to a report from the Rosario Municipal Police Station, the drug buy-bust operation was conducted around 7 PM in Barangay Tejeros Convention, resulting in the arrest of the two suspects. 

Authorities confiscated around 500 grams of suspected illegal drugs with an estimated street value of P3.45 million from the suspects.

After inventory, the seized evidence was brought to the PDEA Regional Office in Calamba, Laguna for further examination and analysis. 

The suspects are now in the custody of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) and will face charges for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act.
