The longest-running noontime show has rocked the entertainment industry’s four corners in recent days. After issues between the show’s talent and new management arose, a mass resignation occurred.
Veteran hosts Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, and Joey de Leon delivered a surprising announcement on May 31, 2023. They have formally announced their departure from TAPE, the production firm behind the noontime show.
Other hosts and staff members resigned as a result. Bullet Jalosjos was seen in a photo with the staff of the “new” Eat Bulaga after the huge evacuation.
Television and Production Exponents (TAPE) Inc. allegedly spent the weekend prepping for the premiere of their new show ‘Eat Bulaga Kapuso’. According to a social media post, potential new Eat Bulaga presenters Paolo Cntis, Alexa Miro, and Buboy Villar were already practicing at APT studio last weekend.
Jun Zarate would direct the longest-running noontime show. It was evident that Zarate did not employ Eat Bulaga’s old logo. He revealed Eat Bulaga’s new logo on her Facebook page.
It should be noted that one of the resigned hosts, Tito Sotto, claimed that they own the Eat Bulaga brand, including its parts. Meanwhile, some Eat Bulaga fans have stated that they will not watch the new show in order to sympathize with the original Dabarkads.
