Alden Richards is in between two conflicting forces right now
Veteran showbiz writer Cristy Fermin said that Asia’s Multimedia Star Alden Richards cried over Eat Bulaga’s issue.
The longest-running noontime in the Philippines is a viral topic these past few days. TVJ, the legendary trio of Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, and Joey de Leon, decided to terminate their connection with TAPE Inc.
Their decision was followed by other hosts. Alden has been part of the Dabarkads for a decade now. His loveteam with Maine Mendoza, known as AlDub, started in Eat Bulaga and its popularity skyrocketed.
With the current issues, Cristy, who is close to Alden, shared that the actor appeared to be in the middle of two conflicting entities. The veteran showbiz writer, based on the article in Newsko, also shared that Alden has been very emotional about what happened as he did not expect these things will occur this way.
“Ilang beses po kaming magka-komunikasyon at ramdam na ramdam ko po tumatawid po sa akin ang kanyang emosyon ng sabihin niyang, ‘Nay hindi ko talaga akalaing mangyayari ito. Hindi ko po inaasahan ang ganito sobra pong lalim sa puso ko ang nararamdaman ko ngayon’,” Cristy shared.
Alden is still under contract with Sparkle GMA Artist Management. Eat Bulaga is a block timer on GMA and it is produced by TAPE Inc, which is owned by Romy Jalosjos. Although all the hosts and staff members resigned from TAPE, Alden could not do this, Cristy said.
If Alden Richards will be taken back as host of the “new” noontime show, probably he will go back because of his contract with the talent management company of GMA.
“At heto na ngayon mga ka-tsika kapag isinalang si Alden Richards sa Eat Bulaga, ano sasabihin ng tao?” Cristy Fermin said.
