His video went viral, eliciting a range of emotions on social media. However, the one and only ‘Bad Boy’ of the Philippine movie and senator eventually reveals the cause for his mustache. Padilla explained that a section of his mustache was irritating at the moment, so he removed it to relieve the discomfort.

In a press conference, the number 1 senator elected in 2022 reveals he had to grow a mustache for his upcoming film about “Father of Philippine Journalism” Marcelo H. Pilar del Pilar. He goes on to say that he had a “commitment” to make the film before he did a film with Megastar Sharon Cuneta.

“Kasi may gagawin po kasi akong pelikula. Commitment ko po ito,” the senator said.
