Piolo Pascual did an advertisement for Netflix
A-list actor Piolo Pascual amused netizens with his recent advertisement for the Netflix series Black Knight featuring South Korean star Kim Woo Bin.
Piolo is one of the most sought-after leading men until now. He is known by his moniker Papa P. Previously, the actor revealed that it was Comedy Concert Queen Ai-Ai delas Alas who first called him that moniker.
He admitted that at first, he did not like it because it sounded old, however, that moniker served as a show of admiration for him, especially coming from the female fans.
On May 18, Netflix Philippines released an advertisement for the South Korean series Black Knight and this feature Papa P Piolo Pascual.
“Hangin there. Oppa…Pa P is here. Black Knight is now streaming, only on Netflix,” the caption of the post stated. The video featured Piolo’s character like Woo-bin’s character Knight 5-8 who is distributing oxygen in a post-apocalyptic world.
However, after Piolo gave the oxygen to the people and took off his mask, they fainted again because he is Papa P. “Miss hangin there,” Piolo said to a female character in the advertisement.
As of this writing, the video posted on Netflix’s Instagram page already reached more than 28 thousand views while on Twitter, it has reached almost 25 thousand views.
This received funny reactions from netizens. “Hahaha natawa ako, ganito dapat mga script ng teleserye ng pinas very witty,” Instagram user @iggy.gamali commented while Instagram user @ms.jenjimenez said, “andami kong hahahaha-ngin there na natawa. I love you Piolo!!!”
Even actresses Lovi Poe and Rhian Ramos commented on Piolo Pascual’s advertisement for this new Netflix series.
