PAGASA Says Southwesterly Windflow to Bring Rains Over Parts of PH

The state weather bureau PAGASA reported that the Southwesterly Windflow will bring rains over some parts of the country.

On Thursday (May 18, 2023), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather update in the country. The Southwesterly Windflow will affect the country’s weather condition.

The Southwesterly Windflow will be affecting the western section of Luzon.

The Southwesterly Surface Windflow / Localized Thunderstorms will bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms over entire Visayas, Palawan including Kalayaan Islands, and Occidental Mindoro.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience similar weather condition.

The weather agency has warned the public for possible flash floods and landslides in affected areas due to the two weather systems.

Meanwhile, the coastal water condition over Visayas, Palawan including Kalayaan islands, and Occidental Mindoro will be slight to moderate, according to the weather bureau.
