As a parent, Ogie Diaz shares his stand about the issue between Sarah Geronimo and her mother.

SARAH GERONIMO – Showbiz reporter Ogie Diaz expresses his stand as a parent regarding the problem of Sarah Geronimo and Mommy Divine.

The “tampo” of Mommy Divine to her daughter Sarah Geronimo went as far as not letting them go inside their village. According to a previous report, there were rumors about Mommy Divine instructing the guards of their subdivision to not let her and her husband Matteo Guidicelli enter the subdivision.

To recall, Mommy Divine’s wrath is because of Sarah and Matteo’s secret wedding.

The couple tied the knot without them knowing. Divine is also known as the strict mother of the Popstar.

Sarah has always been vocal about her love for her parents. This is amid their open secret conflict. And after many years, it seems like Mommy Divine’s heart has not softened yet. In the recent 20th-year concert of the superstar, she made no appearance.

Despite not showing her support, Sarah remained dedicated and determined to reach out to them. And just this Mother’s Day, she shared a tribute for her mother.

“Superheroes ng buhay ko. I love you nanay at tatay ko. Happy Mother’s day po mama. Walang hanggan po na pasasalamat para sa walang katumbas na pag-aaruga at pagmamahal,” Sarah wrote in the caption of her post.

And recently, in the recent video of Ogie Diaz, he expressed his stand on the ongoing rift between them. As a parent himself, he expressed hope that they will finally patch things up between them.

“Sana lumambot ang puso ni Mommy Divine,” he said. If this happens, people not related to their issue like him would definitely get happy to see this.
