Anjo Yllana Request Payment From TAPE Inc. For Unpaid Wages
ANJO YLLANA – Former Dabarkads Anjo Yllana requested payment from Eat Bulaga management for unpaid wages.
“Eat Bulaga” is the Philippines’ longest-running noontime program. It airs on the Kapuso network. The Television And Production Exponents, Inc., also known as TAPE, Inc., is principally controlled by Tony Tuviera and a former Cong. Romeo Jalosjos owned the show. Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, and Joey de Leon serve as the primary hosts.
Jose Manalo, Allan K., Wally Bayola, Paolo Ballesteros, Pauleen Luna, Ryan Agoncillo, Ryzza Mae Dizon, Maine Mendoza, Miles Ocampo, Maja Salvador, Ruru Madrid, Bianca Umali, and Carren Eistrup serve as the show’s additional hosts.
Vic Sotto declined to respond or make any comments when asked if he wanted the noontime program “Eat Bulaga” to remain on the GMA Network. Vic admitted during that ambush interview that TAPE had already paid him the talent money that was supposedly owed to him, but he would not say when or how much.
Just recently, former Eat Bulaga host Anjo Yllana complained about his back wages to TAPE. He expressed his thoughts on “Showbiz Talk Ganern” on DZRH.

Based on a report from Manila Bulletin, Anjo said he worked for TAPE for 20 years and devoted almost half of his life to the company. He admitted that while at first, he had considered just simply moving on, he had changed his mind after learning Vic Sotto was being paid.
“Paki check naman po, may mga hocus pocus po kasi dati yan, e. Sana ma-check.”
“Ngayon, kung may tiwala kayo sa akin, yun lang naman yun, e. Lima o pitong buwan. Konting compensation. 20 years naman ako sa inyo, kalahati halos ng buhay ko inalay ko naman sa inyo. Wala naman akong masamang tinapay sa inyo.”
“Kumbaaga pinagpasa-Diyos ko na lang yun kasi sabi nga naging masaya naman ako. Mahal ko yung mga katrabaho ko dun pero kung magkakabayaran, sama naman ako. Kahit wala na ako diyan, sama naman ako. Kasi pinagtrabahuhan ko naman,” he added.
