Henyo Master Joey de Leon shared his thoughts on why Bongbong Marcos is the President and who will be the next in line.
Joey is known for being witty when it comes to his social media captions, although at time, these become controversial. The veteran comedian-host just recently shared another post and it’s caption once again his expertise in playing with words.
He shared a collage photo of President-elect Bongbong Marcos and Vice President-elect Sara Duterte that were taken during their proclamation. In the caption of his post, Joey de Leon asked this question: “Bakit si BBM Presidente ngayon?”
Then, his play of words started. He said “Kasi after DU30, yung may 31 Naman.” “DU30” is a popular nickname for outgoing President Rodrigo Duterte. Marcos Jr. got 31 million votes in the 2022 elections.
After this, Joey appeared to have shared his prediction about the next President after Bongbong Marcos. After that, DU30 TOO! Gets?”
The newly-elected Vice President got 32 million votes. This post of Joey garnered various reactions from his Instagram followers. There were those who agreed with what he said as they are also anticipating the same thing to happen.
Some netizens commended how Joey shared his thought about the result of the elections in a witty way.
Prior to this, the Henyo Master shared a post congratulating the son of former President Ferdinand Marcos. He shared a photo of Senate President Tito Sotto shaking hands with BBM.
In the caption of his post, Joey de Leon said that BBM is the eighth president from the time their longest-running noontime show Eat Bulaga started.
The Henyo Master, along with the EB Dabarkads supported the vice presidential candidacy of Sen. Tito Sotto who was the running mate of Senator Ping Lacson.
