This is what pushed Aga Muhlach to propose to Charlene Gonzales even though they were not in a relationship.
CHARLENE GONZALES – In an interview, Charlene Gonzales speaks about Aga Muhlach’s proposal to her before despite not being her boyfriend then.
What’s the secret to a long and lasting relationship? How can you make a marriage endure the years and make it work?
For 22 years, celebrities Aga Muhlach and Charlene Gonzales have been together with two kids – a set of twins. But not everyone surely knows how it all started when in the beginning, they weren’t really official yet.
In a previous article, Aga revealed that he proposed to her before without an actual ring and without a clear label of their relationship.
According to Aga during their recent interview with Karen Davila, he took several signs before he finally got the courage to ask. There was this one instance in the middle of their conversation and just having a really good time. At this moment, he just suddenly realized, “She’s my wife.”
This is what he thought to himself. And when he finally asked her, he just cried after receiving a “yes” answer. He remembered the dead silence they received from their friends after announcing that they are getting married. They were probably shocked because he and Charlene were not a couple.
As for Charlene, at that moment, saying “yes” was easy. She expressed that when you know, you would really know as there was confidence in her in saying “yes” to his proposal.
“It was with a free heart. It felt so right,” she quipped. It was not the normal route but 22 years later, they remained strong and happy.
Accordingly, they just started dating after they got engaged. And Aga did not kiss her during those times. He had to make sure that it was love and not lust.
