PAGASA Releases Latest Weather Update for Wednesday (May 3, 2023)

The state weather bureau PAGASA reported that LPA, ITCZ and easterlies will bring rains over some parts of the country.

On Wednesday (May 3, 2023), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather update. The LPA, ITCZ and easterlies will affect the country’s weather condition.

PAGASA reported that a low pressure area, Intertropical Convergence Zone, and the easterlies will bring rain showers over parts of the country.

The LPA has been last spotted over the coastal waters of San Agustin, Surigao del Sur. The weather disturbance is embedded along the ITCZ which is affecting Palawan, Visayas and Mindanao.

The ITCZ and the LPA will bring cloudy weather condition with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over Visayas, Mindanao, Bicol Region, and Mimaropa.

The easterlies and localized thunderstorms will bring partly cloudy to cloudy weather condition with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms over Metro Manila and the rest of the country.

The weather agency has warned the public for flash floods or landslides due to moderate to at times heavy rains and during severe thunderstorms.

The coastal water condition over the entire country will be slight to moderate, according to the weather bureau.
