A Facebook user named Carl Quion shared the photo of his US Visa with a 10-year validity although he give “Tolongges” answers during the interview. The post garnered various reactions from the internet users.
According to Quion, he was coerced by his sister to apply for a US visa, but he was not keen on the idea as he had a thriving business in his home country. With a grudge, he reluctantly went to the US embassy early in the morning, not used to waking up early.
As he stood in line, he noticed that most of the applicants were dressed formally, while he just wore a polo shirt that exposed his tattoos, making him stand out.
He observed the applicants who went ahead of him, and many of them appeared disappointed when they turned back, suggesting that they did not pass the visa application. Out of around 50 people, only a few seemed happy when they turned back.
However, he was indifferent about the outcome as he had no real intention of going to the US, but he complied with his sister’s request since she had already paid for the application.
When it was finally his turn, he approached the interview with a laid-back attitude, knowing he would just improvise his answers. He answered the questions from the embassy staff, showing them the pre-prepared answers he had brought along.
Surprisingly, his visa application was approved despite his casual approach. He chuckled to himself, realizing that he had been able to pass the application without much effort.
He attributed it to pleasing his sister and going along with the process. He left the embassy, satisfied that he had fulfilled his sister’s request, but with no real plans to travel to the US.

Embassy: Hello, Mr. Quion.
Me: Yo, Zup! (I say with my head up)
Embassy: What do you want to do in the US?
Me: Nothing much, just travel, go to Casinos maybe.
Embassy: What do you do here in the Philippines?
Me: Nothing much either, just a small business.
Embassy: Do you have any relatives there?
Me: To tell you the truth, my sister’s there.
She wants me to go on vacation. I don’t really wanna go there. She’s just pestering me to go on vacation.
Embassy: Okay, your US Visa is approved.
