Is it true that Manny Pacquiao turned his back on a commitment?
Former Senator Manny Pacquiao allegedly has no “word of honor” because it was alleged that he refused to fulfill the commitment he previously agreed to do.
Aside from being a world champion in the field of boxing, Manny is also respected for his position in the government in the past. He served as a congressman before he became a senator and eventually, tried his luck in the presidential election.
Manny, also known as Pacman, has established his name in the world of sports and politics. This is one of the reasons why people listen to him.
However, based on the article by showbiz writer Salve Asis in Pilipino Star Ngayon, Manny Pacquiao did not honor a verbal commitment that he had with the producer of the reality show Blow by Blow.
Asis shared in her article that the production company behind the said show was dismayed by the sudden change of mind that the boxing champion had. “Nag-commit na raw kasi ito verbally at nabuo na ang buong team at nakakuha na rin sila ng financier,” the writer stated.
It was also said that everything was already set but before the green light, the production team learned that Manny negotiated with another team that will produce that reality show.
The writer said that this is the reason why people in the production team who negotiated first with Manny were hurt by what he did.
“Masama ang loob ng production team sa ginawa ni Pacman at parang gusto na raw nilang maniwala na hindi marunong mag-honor ng verbal commitment ang dating pulitiko,” Asis shared.
As of this writing, Manny Pacquiao has not released a statement yet regarding this accusation against him.
