Sharon Cuneta has this touching message for Regine Velasquez
Megastar Sharon Cuneta said that she is proud to be the “ate” or the older sister figure in the life of Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez.
Sharon and Regine have a tight bond. They have been friends for many years already. Their fans were aware of how they would show appreciation for each other, especially during special occasions.
The two icons also did projects together. They did a series of concerts titled Iconic and this was a big success.
In a recent episode of the Kapamilya morning talk show Magandang Buhay, Regine Velasquez celebrated her birthday. She received messages from a lot of celebrities who became part of her life and career, as well as those who were inspired by her works.
Sharon Cuneta visited the show’s studio to personally say her message to the birthday girl. The Megastar said that Regine and her husband Ogie Alcasid are among the quality human beings she knows and that she is proud of the Songbird’s success.
“I am most proud of the heart you have,” Sharon added. The Megastar also said being an older sister to Regine is something that makes her proud. “I am proud to be your Ate. I’m proud to be your friend. I’m proud to be your student. I’m so thankful to God for bringing us together,” she said.
Sharon is looking forward to having the chance to work again with Regine because she misses her so much. “And always remember na kahit hindi tayo magkasama araw-araw, araw-araw mahal ka ni Ate,” the Megastar added.
Regine showed appreciation for the heartwarming she received from her Ate Sharon. “Maraming salamat, Ate. Kararating palang po niya pero nandito siya. Ikaw ang generous. Ikaw ang pinangarap ko maka-close. At nangyari na. I love you, Ate,” the Songbird said.
