The BI is committed to upholding immigration laws and regulations, and the deportation process is being carried out in accordance with Philippine laws and procedures.

This case serves as a reminder that foreign nationals residing or visiting the Philippines are expected to abide by local laws and regulations. Those who violate Philippine laws, including committing crimes such as swindling, will face legal consequences, which may include deportation.
