Heart Evangelista is becoming an international fashion icon
Celebrity Heart Evangelista was asked if she is also aiming for Hollywood now that she is more visible in the international fashion scene.
Heart is more focused now on her endeavors in the field of fashion. She had this transition years ago and she was not doing a lot of TV and movie projects anymore. In a previous statement, the wife of Senator Chiz Escudero was asked to react to the tag “international fashion icon.”
She refused to accept this tag and said that she just really enjoying her stints in the field of fashion abroad.
In another statement, Heart Evangelista said that right now, Filipinos are more welcome in the international fashion scene which is not a thing of the past, and this is something that makes her delighted.
With her appearances in Fashion Weeks in New York, Milan, and Paris, the Kapuso star was asked if she is targeting to be in Hollywood soon, based on the article in The Philippine Star.
“Nah, I’m not quite sure. Siguro I’m really more of the Philippines and West siguro ako,” Heart said, adding that she is not focused on her acting career right now. She is allotting much of her time when it comes to her career in fashion.
However, Heart said that she is happy that Filipino artists like Dolly de Leon are making their way to Hollywood. “I’m really, really happy for the actors who really go after their dreams in terms of Hollywood,” she said.
Heart Evangelista also said that she not thinking of strutting her way to the Oscar red carpet even though actress Audrey Hepburn is one of her fashion inspirations. “Hindi ko masyadong naiisip ‘tong si red carpet. Ang sa’kin, I don’t wait for a red carpet. Every day is a red carpet!” the fashion icon said.
