Denice Laurel is a victim of mistaken identity
Actress-vlogger Denise Laurel reacted to being mistaken as model Deniece Cornejo who was found guilty by the court in serious illegal detention filed by It’s Showtime host Vhong Navarro.
Aside from Deniece, businessman Cedric Lee, and two others received the same verdict from the court.
Vhong expressed joy that he got his victory in this legal battle against Deniece and Cedric that commenced almost a decade ago. He reacted to this through the statement he had on the Kapamilya noontime show It’s Showtime after the decision was released.
Netizens expressed support for Vhong and some have various reactions to this popular legal battle in showbiz. However, Denise Laurel had a different reaction to this. She was a bit pissed off.

She stressed that her name is spelled with an “S”. “Just let me be DeniSsssseeee,” she said. Through a TikTok video, she shared her thoughts on this. Denise shared that every time she would have her live streaming, there would be netizens who would comment thinking that she was Deniece Cornejo.
“I serve you years of talent not foodz,” she quipped. Denise also said, “’Di lumalagpas kahit anong live o post may hirit haha. I got no issues since birth. Enough is enough! Been a good sport since 2014. Wrong send po since 2014!”
Netizens who commented on this showed support for Denise. “Stop na the obviously intentional mistaken identity. Hindi niyo mapipikon si DeniSe Laurel. DeniSe Laurel,” a netizen commented. Another one suggested that she should appear on It’s Showtime while the other one said she is the only Denise they know.
