Filipina actress, philanthropist, endorser, businesswoman, and socialite Heart Evangelista is the wife of Senator Francis “Chiz” Escudero. It has been months since rumors surfaced that their marriage is on the rocks.
It can be recalled that celebrity cosmetic dermatologist Vicki Belo and Alex Gonzaga went viral after joking on Vicki’s vlog uploaded last Friday that Evangelista snubbed them at the recent Milan Fashion Week.
Alex Gonzaga and Vicki Belo later clarified that they are just joking around when they said that the Pinay fashion icon snubbed them at the recent Milan Fashion Week. In her IG story, the dermatologist said that Evangelista didn’t know that they were there.
For her part, the Youtube star posted on her FB account her clarification about the issue. She said, “Ay.. Hindi po kami nagkita sa Milan biruan lang po namin yan ni Dra if you watch the whole vlog. Heart is nice since Pangarap na bituin circa 2007 pa po sakin at magkaibigan kami. Hindi na dapat ginawang news mga ganito.”
They said they are just teasing Evangelista and had no ill feelings toward the Kapuso star.

At the 45th-anniversary fashion show of the international Filipina designer Josie Natori, held last week at The Peninsula Manila Hotel, Heart Evangelista was anything but a snub. At the Natori show, Evangelista was gracious to all who greeted her and flanked her for pictures. Last Thursday, she even agreed to an exclusive interview with Philstar.
The 37-years-old celebrity was actually quick to respond in all humility when the reporter asked her about her reaction to her new title as an “international fashion icon” bestowed by fans and media outlets for representing the Philippines in various fashion weeks for years.
She said, “Ay my, no! I’m not!”
Heart Evangelista said she’s really enjoying every second of her time at the fashion shows. “Some people say that I am (international fashion icon), but I really do enjoy what I’m doing abroad,” she said.
Evangelista said that she’s back in the country to promote more Filipino designers and artists on an international scale using the positive press she received from around the world.
“I’m back here! And I also do a lot of support for our designers,” she added.
