The Guinness World Records Recognized Cutie Female Chihuahua Hailed as “World’s Shortest Dog”
POCKET-SIZED DOG – A cutie female Chihuahua from the USA has been officially recognized as the “World’s Shortest Dog”.
The Guinness World Records (GWR) has officially recognized a female Chihuahua from the USA as the smallest living dog in the world, measuring even smaller than a popsicle stick.
According to the recent report by GWR, the Chihuahua, named “Pearl,” is a mere two years old and stands at a height of 9.14 cm (3.59 in), making her a true miniature marvel. Born on September 1, 2020, Pearl’s size is astonishingly tiny, with a length of just 12.7 cm (5.0 in), which is nearly equivalent to the size of a dollar bill.
“Pearl is a relative of the previous record holder, Miracle Milly (9.65 cm; 3.8 in), who sadly passed away in 2020 before Pearl was born. Pearl is the daughter of one of Milly’s identical sisters,” GWR said.
Despite her petite frame, Pearl weighs in at 553 g (1.22 lb), showcasing her delicate yet remarkable stature.
“Just like her ancestor Milly, Pearl weighed less than an ounce (28 g) at birth,” GWR added.
Vanesa Semler, the proud fur parent of Pearl and also the owner of another famous tiny dog, Miracle Milly, shared with GWR that despite Pearl’s small size, she possesses a vibrant and playful personality.
Even at her young age, Pearl is described as being a “child at heart,” exuding a lively and joyful demeanor.
Pearl’s recognition by GWR as the world’s smallest living dog has captured the attention of animal enthusiasts worldwide. Her diminutive size and adorable appearance have made her a unique and extraordinary canine celebrity.
