BENEFITS OF 4Ps of DSWD – Here is a guide on the benefits and grants under this anti-poverty program of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD).

One of the biggest anti-poverty programs in the Philippines is the Pantawid Pamilya Pilipino Program. It is more popular as 4Ps and there are milions of 4Ps beneficiaries in the country.

4Ps was crafted to provide assistance to the poorest of the poor families. There are benefits under 4Ps of DSWD and you can check on them below.

4Ps Grants:

Based on an article on OWWA Member, here are the grants under the DSWD 4Ps program:

  • Health Grant – This assistance will be given to qualified families with children who are 0-5 years old (P500 per month per household) and pre and post natal care for pregnant women beginning on the 1st trimester of pregnancy
  • Education Grant – This aid will be extended to beneficiary families with children between three (3) years old and 18 years of age who are enrolled and attending at least 85% of the classes in school. Based on the article, a maximum of three (3) children per family will be covered under the program for 10 months per year.

Benefits of 4Ps of DSWD:

  • Education Grant
    • Php 300.00 per child in pre-school or day care
    • Php 300.00 per child in elementary
    • Php 500.00 per child in junior high school
    • Php 700.00 per child in senior high school
  • Health Grant – Php 750.00 per month
  • Others:
    • Rice Subsidy – Php 600.00 per month
    • PhilHealth automatic coverage
    • Priority in the availment of DSWD Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP) modalities and interventions
