DSWD 4PS – Here is a guide on how to apply and the requirements in applying for this anti-poverty program of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD).
Have you heard about the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program or more commonly called 4Ps? It is a national anti-poverty program spearheaded by the Department of Social Welfare and Development.
The said DSWD program was crafted to provide assistance to the poorest of the poor Filipinos. Under it, there are both health and educational grants for the beneficiaries. There are also conditionalities and you can check the factors considered by the agency in choosing the rightful beneficiaries below.
How to Apply for DSWD 4Ps:
Step 1 – Check your qualifications to DSWD 4Ps. The government agency has set eligibility requirements in applying to be beneficiary of the program. To be eligible to apply, the applicant must be:
- a resident of one of the poorest communities in the Philippines
- a part of the household whose economic status is below the provincial poverty level
- having children between 0 and 18 years of age or a pregnant member of the family when the assessment was made

Step 3 – The Selection Process. The selection of the beneficiaries involves a process starting with the list of the poor households being forwarded to the PMED of the 4Ps NPMO for evaluation. There will be an eligibility check to determine the individuals who will be beneficiaries of the program.

Sana po masali rin ako sa 4ps apat ang anak ko grade 9 grade 6,grade 3 at 4yrs old pero hnd manlang ako makasali samantalang isa ako sa naghihikahos ang buhay sa Langla Jaen Nueva Ecija.. Nag apply narin ako ng 4ps sa lugar nmin pero sa awa nh diyos wala paring swerte.. sana nman po lahat mabigyan ng pagkakataong makasali para sa mga anak ko.. Hnd yong nangangarap nlang po ako n sana mabilhan ko manlang ng Gatas ang aking mga anak para may mainom cla bago matulog at pagkagising.. pagkumita man ang asawa ko sa pamamasada syempre uunahin ko munang bilhin ang pang araw araw n pangangailan, katulad ng bigas, ulam at baon nila sa school.. tpos dumadaing sa akin ang isa sa mga anak ko na sana bilhan ko nman daw cla ng gatas.. ang sagot ko po sabi ko sege pag marami n kako kaming pera.. parang dinudurog ang puso ko kc hnd ko manlang maibigay agad ang nais nila ng hnd n cla hihiling sa akin…
