PAGASA: 3 Weather Systems to Bring Rains Over Parts of PH 

PAGASA Releases Latest Weather Update for Saturday (April 8, 2023)

The state weather bureau PAGASA reported that three weather systems will bring rains over some parts of the country. 

On Saturday (April 8, 2023), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather update in the country. The Northeasterly Surface Windflow, localized thunderstorms and LPA’s trough will affect the country’s weather condition. 

PAGASA reported that the Northeasterly Surface Windflow affecting Extreme Northern Luzon. It will bring cloudy weather conditions with rains will be experienced over Batanes, Cagayan, Isabela, and Apayao.

The trough of a low-pressure area will bring similar weather conditions over Eastern Visayas, Sorsogon, Masbate, Surigao del Norte, and Dinagat Islands. 

The Localized Thunderstorms will bring partly cloudy to cloudy conditions with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms over Quirino, Nueva Vizcaya, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, La Union, Pangasinan, Abra, Benguet, Mountain Province, Ifugao, Kalinga, and Aurora. 

The weather agency has warned the public of possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate with at times heavy rains and severe thunderstorms.

Meanwhile, the coastal water condition over Luzon will be moderate to rough. Visayas and Mindanao will have slight to moderate surrounding sea conditions.
