A male netizen feels ‘super blessed’ after getting sprinkled with holy water during priest’s blessing in San Sebastian Church.
A video of a teacher named Ading Quintero receiving a blessing from Father Darwin Artizona in San Sebastian Church, Occidental Mindoro, has gone viral on social media. The video earns reactions online.
The video shows Father Darwin blessing the palm leaves, and then sprinkling the holy water on Ading Quintero and the other churchgoers.
According to Ading Quintero, he invited his students to attend the mass after their school performance. They were running late, so they had to sit at the back of the church.
“Ang mass po ay pinamunuan ni Father Darwin Artizona na na-assign sa San Sebastian church sa bayan Sablayan, Occidental Mindoro. Pero noong Sunday po nagsimba po talaga ako with my student Mateo Lee Del Rosario at hindi ko po alam na navideohan nya po pala ako,” Teacher Ading said.
During the service, Father Darwin blessed the palm leaves and then began to sprinkle holy water on the congregants. In the video, Ading Quintero can be seen standing in front of Father Darwin, with his palms open, as he blesses him with the holy water.
Ading Quintero was delighted with the experience, describing it as feeling like he had just taken a bath in holy water.
“Noong nagbabasbas na po si Father pumunta na po kami sa gitna para mabasa po yung palaspas pero naparami po ata basbas sa’kin hehehe. Nakakatuwa din po at nasabuyan ako ng ganoon karami, first time ko din po kasi maranasan ang maligo sa holy water,” he added.
Quintero also mentioned that he has known Father Darwin for a long time and that he was his teacher in college. He described him as a great and humorous priest, which is why many people love and appreciate him.
