Food Delivery Rider Appeals to Stop Fake Bookings Following April Fools’ Day
A disappointed food delivery rider airs dismay after being victimized by several fake bookings on April Fools’ day.
A food delivery driver aired his rage on Facebook after many pranksters harmed him during “April Fools.” After falling prey to the pranks multiple times, delivery rider Arvin demanded an end to bogus bookings.
“Stop fake booking,” this was the plea of a food delivery rider from Mandaluyong City who has been a victim of fake bookings several times while he was doing his job properly. His post quickly went viral online and garnered reactions from netizens.
He mentioned that it is getting more typical for clients to place bogus orders through their delivery app. However, this is too much for them to bear because their money is at danger while placing an order on the app.
“May pumasok order/booking, ngunit nung nakuha ko na po ang order sa Jollibee at maihatid sa mismong location niya ay hindi ko na macontact, mga 9 beses ko itong tinawagan pero hindi talaga siya sumasagot,” he said in his post.
“Kaya nireport ko na ito kay Food Panda para maconfirm nilang hindi sumisipot or matawagan ang aming customer na si Ma’am Richelle at para maipa-cancel ang kaniyang order dahil kapag pinatagal ko pa po yung order sa aking app maaring mag dulot ito ng automatic complete at possible na aabonohan ko yung order niya gawa ng ito ay Cash On delivery o hindi pa bayad,” he added.
He expressed his disappointment, saying, “April Ngayon sana walang mag mag Fakebook samin.” He pleaded because they squander the time and effort of the riders who have to prepare food and deliver it to the correct place.
