A couple of days before Christmas of 2023, statements from Kim Chiu and Xian Lim were released confirming their split. To recall, at that time, reports and speculations about their split have been lurking everywhere online.
Kim Chiu confirmed the split with Xian saying that love may be a significant part of a relationship but this is not the only thing it needs to thrive and to work. For more than a decade, they have been each other’s support system and partner creating beautiful memories but unfortunately, they have to come up with a decision that although painful, is better for both of them.
“It was our mutual decision to transition our relationship into what we hope to be a lifelong friendship.”
It was another chapter closed.
Four months after that confirmation, Xian revealed he’s dating Iris Lee, the film producer who was accused of the reason behind their split. After several sightings of them together, the actor finally confirmed it adding that they are happy.
However, what is not making him happy are the rumors circulating online. In an interview with a lifestyle magazine, Lim pointed out that Lee was never the third party and that there is no third party that caused his separation from the It’s Showtime host.
“There’s no third party. That’s it. That plain and simple,” he expressed.
It’s just unexpected things happened and they broke. He added, “Things happen in life that we’re not going to be able to control. And as much as we don’t want it to happen, life happens.”
It just pains him that people try to drag and involve innocent ones. He believes they don’t deserve the hate. They don’t deserve it because there’s no truth to what people are spreading online.
