Ruffa Gutierrez “May Pagbabayaran” After Losing In Case vs Housemaids

Ogie Diaz reveals something about the labor case Ruffa Gutierrez is facing versus her former house helpers.

RUFFA GUTIERREZ – Actress and host, Ruffa Gutierrez is to pay this amount to her former house helpers after losing in labor case.

Last year, Ruffa Gutierrez faced a complaint filed under the National Labor Relations Commission (NLRC) by her two former house helpers. She was accused of not paying her house helpers their salaries when she fired them.

P3PWD Rep. Rowena Guanzon was the first one to publicize the issue.

She presented a screenshot of the “Notice of Conference” addressed to the actress.

Gutierrez was invited to a conciliation-mediation conference to resolve the issues but both parties did not cooperate.

And just recently, in a video from Ogie Diaz, an update about the case has been discussed and he revealed that Gutierrez lost in the labor case. She is set to pay and a document showing how much the payment was shown.

The document stated that the employer must pay them an exact amount of Php 13, 299.92 “representing their indemnity pay, unpaid wages, and unpaid pro-rated 13th-month pay”.

Diaz is certain that Ruffa will follow the said instruction in the document and he believes that the amount is too small for Ruffa to not follow.

“I’m sure si Ruffa ay tutugon sa desisyon na ito at maliit na bagay ito at maliit na halaga ito para hindi tuparin ni Ruffa ang kanyang obligasyon doon sa kanyang dalawang kasambahay,” he said.

Watch the video below:

The case reached the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE). Ruffa has since denied firing them without pay and allegedly, they left voluntarily after getting into an argument with Ruffa’s 68-year-old mayordoma and she stands by her family’s mayordoma who has been with them for 18 years already.
