Netizens Praise Honest NAIA Employees Returning American National’s Lost Cash
HONEST WORKERS – Internet users praised honest NAIA employees for returning an American national’s lost cash.
An American passenger named Terrance Alspach had lost a significant amount of money worth P55,237.85 while he was preparing for his flight from the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) in Manila, Philippines, to Tokyo, Japan, on Monday, March 20.
Fortunately, the lost money was returned to him, thanks to the efforts of the airport personnel.
According to reports, Alspach had accidentally dropped the money somewhere in the airport, and he had no idea where it was. However, the situation was quickly resolved when a wheelchair attendant, who was in the vicinity, spotted the bills lying on the ground.
The attendant immediately picked up the money and alerted the nearest Aviation Security guard, Mercy Pecso, about the incident. Pecso then sought the help of the Airport Police Department (APD) to locate the owner of the lost money.
With the help of CCTV footage, the authorities were able to identify the passenger who had dropped the money. They then contacted Alspach and informed him that his lost money had been found and was ready for retrieval.
The Manila Airport Authority (MAA), which manages NAIA, lauded the collaborative effort of the airport personnel and thanked them for their excellent service.
