Ruru Madrid Believes Eat Bulaga Will Never Be The Same Without TVJ

Ruru Madrid talked about the recent Eat Bulaga issue

Kapuso actor Ruru Madrid believes that the longest-running noontime show Eat Bulaga will never be the same without the legendary trio Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, and Joey de Leon, also known as the TVJ.

Ruru has been part of the Kapuso noontime show since last year. His special someone, actress Bianca Umali, is also one of the new hosts. In recent episodes, Ruru was not able to join the show because he is shooting for the series The Write One.

However, based on the article in Bandera, the actor said that he heard the rumors about the possible things that will happen to Eat Bulaga.

Ruru Madrid said that there are some people who told him about this but there are no confirmations yet regarding what will happen. As a guest co-host, the actor was asked what he feels about the recent issues.

“‘Yun nga, eh. Actually, nakakaano rin po. Parang kahit papa’no, medyo nakakabalisa rin. Na napapaisip ka na parang hindi mo alam kung ano ang mangyayari,” he said.

Amid the issues, Ruru is optimistic that the show will overcome the recent issues. He stressed that this is for the avid viewers of the show and it is not just for any personality.

On the other hand, the actor asserted that the longest-running noontime show will never be the same without Tito, Vic, and Joey. It was rumored that the trio will be taken out of the show and allegedly, they will be replaced by Wowowin host Willie Revillame. However, it was already clarified that this is not true.

“Simula noong bata ako, nanonood ako ng Eat Bulaga, nandoon na po sila, so, I don’t think magiging Eat Bulaga pa rin siya nang walang TVJ,” Ruru Madrid said.

As of this writing, Eat Bulaga has not released yet an official statement about the show’s rumored rebranding.
