Model and internet personality Jelai Andres gives meaningful advice to people who are facing problems and trials in their lives.
When faced with issues and trials, Jelai believes that it is still better to turn to family first and air our grievances before turning to friends. Such is the belief of actor and content creator Jelai, who believes that family is the first to understand and love you without the expectation of reciprocation or judgment.
If there is a significant situation, it is still preferable to talk to family before friends, according to Jelai. Netizens were given the opportunity to ask Jelai questions on the episode she starred in the drama anthology “Tadhana” in a GMA Public Affairs video.
Someone questioned her if she confides in friends or family while she is going through a personal crisis. Jelai acknowledges that she sometimes consults with a friend before notifying her family about a problem.
“Pero mali. Na-realize ko ang ending sa family din ako lumapit. Dapat ganu’n, unahin yung family niyo kasi sila talaga yung makapagpapagaan ng loob mo,” Jelai said.
“Kung may problema kayo, sila dapat ang unang makakaalam kasi sila yung makakatulong sa ‘yo at saka siyempre sarili mo,” she added, based on the article of Bandera.
