Kylie Verzosa is friends with Steven Seagal
Actress Kylie Verzosa shared that she and Hollywood actor Steven Seagal still communicate with each other.
Kylie was able to establish a friendship with Steven. They met during the Distinctive International Arab Festivals last December 2022. The former beauty queen was the one who won the Best Actress award that year for the movie The Housemaid.
During a recent press conference for her new movie Baby Boy Baby Girl with Marco Gumabao, Kylie Verzosa was asked when she met the Hollywood actor.
“It’s so funny. We were on the same table as Steven Seagal. So, may isang tao na nagpakilala, tinanong kung sino siya. Nahiya naman ako because that’s Steven Seagal, di ba?” the Pinay actress shared.
Kylie introduced herself to the Hollywood actor and said that she is from the Philippines. Steven told her that he was always visiting the country.
“Hanggang sa nakipag-friends na siya. Minsan tinatawagan niya ako… joke lang, pero naging friends kami,” she enthused. Up to this day, they still have a communication with each other.
“Nasira niya yung walls ko, we have a good friendship. Once in a while, nagte-text kami,” she said and jokingly added that she will invite the Hollywood actor to the premiere night of her new movie. Then, Kylie said that Steven is a kind person.
The actress also shared that if she does not know a person, she has a fear of opening up with the apprehension that the other person will not like her. However, once her “wall” was broken down and she feels comfortable, it is easy for her to open up and be herself.
Kylie Verzosa added that this is what people will see in her new movie. “Yung without walls. Yung ako lang. Kasi to be honest, as a person, I really let my walls down and let my doors down, tapos I’m all yours!” she said.
