Here’s Reason Why Adele, Ed Sheeran, Harry Styles Refuse To Perform At King Charles III Coronation Concert
KING CHARLES III CORONATION – Here’s the reason why Adele, Ed Sheeran, and Harry Styles decline to perform at King Charles III’s coronation concert.
King Charles II, the late Queen Elizabeth II’s eldest son who passed away on September 8 at her holiday residence in Scotland, is now the ruler of the United Kingdom. Charles Philip Arthur George, the eldest child of the Duchess of Edinburgh, who later became Queen Elizabeth II, and the Prince of Edinburgh, who later became Prince Philip, was born on November 14, 1948, in Buckingham Palace.
When he was born, King George VI, his paternal grandpa, was in power. He became the heir apparent and the Duke of Cornwall, Duke of Rothesay, Prince and Great Steward of Scotland, Baron of Renfrew, and Lord of the Isles in 1952 when his mother succeeded his deceased grandfather.
Charles and Lady Diana Spencer got married. Their marriage is blessed with two sons – Princes William and Harry. Charles married his former girlfriend Camilla Parker Bowles in April 2005.
The coronation of King Charles III in May was supposed to include a star-studded concert, but celebrities don’t seem very eager to take part in the festivities. Based on a report from Philstar, award-winning singers Adele and Ed Sheeran were at the top of Charles’ wish list to perform, but neither accepted the invitations since they were unavailable.

Ed Sheeran said that the “+-=” globe tour and logistical considerations led to his decision. Also, the day before the actual coronation, his new album “-” (Subtract) will be released.
Harry Styles, who won Album of the Year this year, is another well-known artist who declined an invitation to play, even though his current “Love On Tour” does not include any dates between his second night in Tokyo on March 25 and his first night in Copenhagen on May 14.
Unsurprisingly, Elton John, a close friend of Charles’ late ex-wife Princess Diana, also rejected to play because he is also on tour. Even though it was unsuccessful, Buckingham Palace tried to get the Spice Girls back together for the coronation concert.
Thus far, Andrew Lloyd Webber, Lionel Richie, Kylie Minogue, and her sister Dannii have all provided confirmations. Olly Murs is making time available so he can go.
