Boy Abunda says he is disappointed with the vlog of Liza Soberano. Here’s what he said.
LIZA SOBERANO – Former ABS-CBN artist Liza Soberano released a new vlog but it seems like Boy Abunda did not like how she sounded in it.
Among the people to react when Liza Soberano wiped off her social media pages is King Of Talk Boy Abunda. As a manager himself, he said that he knew what Liza did and shared that it is for a rebranding. She wanted to build a different image and she wanted to take a different path in her career.
Shortly after this, Liza, who now prefers to be called Hope, released a new vlog called “This Is Me”. In this video, Liza narrated that although thankful to her former management, she felt like she was caged. She was controlled that even in the littlest details such as the chance to choose her screen name was not given to her.
“During all those years, I was never really asked for my input, my thoughts, my ideas,” she said.
The King Of Talk has watched this and in a recent episode of his show, he shared how it impacted him.
According to him, Liza should not disregard her past. He did not feel disgusted but he did feel extremely disappointed.
The King Of Talk said, “I’m not disgusted… I’m extremely disappointed with the vlog, You can proceed with your career, redirect your career pero, sana, you can journey in gratitude.”
Her vlog also earned a reaction from her former manager Ogie Diaz. According to Diaz, she was not entirely controlled. She was also asked about her input and if she ever has complaints. And in terms of her screen name, he reminded her that was the same name that helped her family. Her screen name chosen by Malou Santos was the one that changed and improved her life.
